Languages Ranked Based on Global City Classifications

The Globalization and World Cities Research Network (GaWC) is known for ranking cities biannually based on their international connectedness. The 2020 version lists 182 cities ranked within the Alpha and Beta ranges. Using these classifications along with a determination of the dominant language spoken within each city, a power ranking of languages can be constructed.
